Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)

There are many characteristics to our LORD, but one not spoken of frequently is that of warrior. We are told in scripture that “The LORD is his name, and he is a warrior! (Exodus 15:3-5 CEV).” He is a shield to us “…’Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield…’ (Genesis 15:1 NKJV).”    “Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today…” Stop attempting to solve your problems on your own power. We need to give it to CHRIST fully stand back and allow Him to deliver us from our problems,”…see the deliverance the LORD will bring you…” AMEN.   Our power fails in comparison with that of the LORD. With him we are victorious. When we step into our rightful place in Him, He is the one that fights for us. “You must not fear them, for the LORD your God Himself fights for you (Deuteronomy 3:22 NKJV).”   “For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, “In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength… (Isaiah 30:15 NASB)” Exodus 14:13-14 tells that if we trust in the LORD and repent, He will fight the battle for us and shield us. And if the LORD is for us who can be against us!!!  Move in victory knowing that our LORD is at the forefront of the battle, He is ready to wage a war on the things that attack us, the things that hinder us. Bask in His power and glory for the battle is His and we have already won. AMEN.
