Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. JAMES 1:2-3

Can you believe it? Can you believe “…that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”? Our FATHER helps to build our faith thru “… various trials…”.  And we are told to consider our trials with joy. Huh.!?   The outcomes of our trails are “endurance”. Just what is endurance exactly? The meaning of endurance is listed as: the capability of sustaining prolonged stressful effort, the ability to suffer pain, distress, hardship or stress of any kind without succumbing, a state of surviving, remaining alive, the state or fact of persevering, continuing existence, duration. In a nutshell endurance can be defined as survival.   Our LORD will allow us trails to help build our strength. The end outcome should be victory over that trail. The end outcome should be a stronger bond between you and our LORD. The outcome will show that we can survive the trail as we rest on our LORD to carry us thru them. We can endure thru the pain and we will have power over that which has tested us.   We know that we will need to endure hardships. No one likes to go thru a hard time. But Listen to our promise. “Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him” (James 1:12). Our heavenly FATHER will reward us for our endurance. Like a child that is rewarded with an ice cream sundae for eating all of their vegetables, our LORD will do like wise. Give HIM praise and thanks, for the final outcome is survival, survival in CHRIST. AMEN.
