For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. ROMANS 9:17

At first glance, this scripture can be taken as meaning that the LORD created Pharaoh as an evil or hardened ruler in order to show Himself as GOD, thus robbing Pharaoh of his free will. But understanding that man was blessed with the ability to choose, we know this to be incorrect.    Like all of mankind, Pharaoh was responsible for his choices. GOD allowed him to come into power as the man that he was. Not as the man that GOD made him to become. So this individual was “predestined” to become Pharaoh in order for the LORDs purpose to be carried out (read ACTS 4:27-28).    Why was Pharaoh “predestined” to come into power? Read: so that “… I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth”.  The LORD used Pharaoh to proclaim His power in all the earth, His power in all that takes place on earth, His power thru the good and the bad, thru trails and tribulations. He will use a ruler to enslave a Nation or to release a Nation called back to him. Our LORD controls it all for it is His to Rule over.    Take the phrase, “GOD Bless America” has
America not been Blessed? With the goings of this world should we not be chanting “America Bless GOD”!?! How will our FATHER show His power to our Nation at the present? Will our next ruler bring us further into darkness or will that leader bring a Nation back to our Father? Either way our LORD will show his power. We will succumb to the outcome set in motion before the breathe of man (read ROMANS 14:11) Pray for revival, pray for strength, pray and give thanks for what truths we hold on to from his word. Pray fervently with a true heart and watch how our FATHER’s power will manifest. AMEN.
