I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Psalm 3:5-6 (NIV)

Psalm 4:8, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” When our walk is pure and in line with the will of GOD, when we give all to Him we will sleep in comfort and be rejuvenated to face another day. When we “know” and not just believe that our LORD is in charge of our lives and that all things are ordained by Him, when we are filled by His WORD and not bread alone, when we apply and show His WORD inscribed upon our hearts, then, “when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet (Proverbs 3:24 NIV).” “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident (Psalm 27:3 NIV).” Psalm 3:6 tells us, “I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me…” How can something such as that be possible? The answer is a simple one. If the above is applied it would seem then at that point in your walk JESUS is LORD of all in your life and Proverbs 1:33(NIV),”but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”   ABBA FATHER I pray that my brethren are able to place you as LORD above all. That You are the one sought out for help, that Your peace can be upon them and their hearts are put on fire for You. And in time that Psalm 23:4 will ring true in their hearts. AMEN.
