Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the LORD forgave you. COLOSSIANS 3:13

Posted in Uncategorized at 1:07 am by Devotions with MYK. Come, walk with me.

The LORD said “Bear with each other …” The definition of bear is written as: To hold up, support, to be accountable for, assume, to have a tolerance for, endure, to offer, render. We are called by the LORD to “BEAR” with each other. Our brothers should not be allowed to fall alone. We are to stand with them and fight to the finish. We are to assume their hardships! We must render help to them as the Spirit tells us to! They are not to endure alone. We are to carry each other to victory! Father I thank you for the brothers that answer your call and stand prepared to stand in the gap. Praise be to our LORD.   “…forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.”  And then it is written “Forgive as the LORD forgave you.” The LORD has already forgiven you of your crimes (sin).

We, who have caused the enemy to laugh at our LORD. We, who are judged by our actions and are labeled “…good Christian…” by our sarcastic peers. We, who at times watch the same movies drink the same drinks, listen to the same songs and laugh at the same jokes as the “heathens”. Our LORD has forgiven us. Praise his name.  Have you forgiven those that have harmed you? We are told “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (MATTHEW 6:12). “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (MATTHEW 6:14). “But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins” (MATTHEW 6:15). Move forward in victory. Go now in prayer to the LORD; ask for the strength to forgive those that harmed you. Go speak forgiveness into their life. Stand in prayer with your brothers, bear with them and forgive as our Father has forgiven us. Praise our LORD. Give him thanks for he is merciful. AMEN
