…”How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the LORD is God, worship him! But if Baal is God, worship him!”… 1 Kings 18:21 (Contemporary English Version)

Posted in Uncategorized at 1:15 am by Devotions with MYK. Come, walk with me.

Allow me to ask you a question. It may sound simple at first; you might wonder why am I asking this question, there’s a chance that you may even get upset. But if a self evaluation will some how make you think on your relationship with GOD and move you to mend anything that needs His touch, then I’m ok with that outcome. Ready? Here it goes. Whom do “you” serve, GOD or Mammon, CHRIST or the Enemy? The lines are drawn, sides are being chosen a decision must be made. Where will you stand when our KING enters upon the battlefield?   Do you proclaim CHRIST but live as the world does? Remember that James 4:4(CEV) reads, “You people aren’t faithful to God! Don’t you know that if you love the world, you are God’s enemies? And if you decide to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.”   You can not profess GOD as LORD on Sunday and Holidays with your lips and show witness to the enemy with your actions on days other than. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24 NKJV).”   Why do you serve? Why do you do the things that you do? Why do you attend service? Why do you participate in church functions? Why do you carry the Bible? Do you read it? Why do you speak CHRIST with some but with others not? Again, who do you serve? “Am I now trying to get people to think well of me? Or do I want God to think well of me? Am I trying to please people? If I were, I would not be serving Christ (Galatians 1:10 NIRV).”   The time is “NOW” this second. Our LORD is at the door and the Enemy is on your back. Choose whom you shall serve. Choose your side, the side of ever lasting life or that of eternal torment? Choose wisely for you will not get a second chance once our Heavenly FATHER appears on the battlefield.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve … But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15 NKJV).” AMEN, AMEN and AMEN.
