A man’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand his own way? PROVERBS 20:24

Posted in Uncategorized at 1:10 pm by Devotions with MYK. Come, walk with me.

Isn’t it interesting that when we are “living life” to the fullest and “things are going good” that we have a stronger belief in God, but we more so forget to stay in communion with him?

“God is good” I was able to_______________, or “God why” __________________? We’ve all been there.  We must not forget that our “steps are directed by the Lord” and that we can make plans for tomorrow and beyond but unless the Lord has ordained those plans we may not walk them.

How do you react to the Lord when things are going right? Do you press into the Lord when things are rough? As beings of flesh we want to be in control over our lives. We make plans for ourselves and those around us, but how many times do we stand by the outcome that our Lord has allowed? How many times do you rejoice with our Lord when the outcome is not what you wanted?

We can plan all we want, the outcome can be used for correcting, guiding or as an answer to prayer, but all things that come our way are ordained by GOD. Our ways are not his, and our plans are not his. He has set the path and we must walk it in his will.

Stay in constant communion with him, knowing that we walk a path that our GOD has allowed for us. Give him praise that we walk it not alone. AMEN
